This project is a web-based ukulele tuner that works directly in any browser. You don’t need to download APPs, pay for premium software, or register any account. Just allow microphone permission, pluck your ukulele strings, and you can finish pitch calibration within seconds.
We designed the interface with new ukulele learners as the core consideration. The visual tuning dial intuitively tells you whether your string is flat, sharp or perfectly in tune, so you won’t get confused by obscure music terminology.
To cope with noisy outdoor scenarios, we also add a built-in standard note playback function. You can play the benchmark tone and manually align your instrument’s sound with it when microphone pickup is disturbed by background sound.
The tool fits all screen sizes perfectly. The vertical layout is specially optimized for mobile phones, so you can hold your ukulele in one hand and operate the webpage with the other without screen layout chaos.
Meanwhile, this ukulele tuner belongs to our series of browser music helper tools, paired with vocal range testing tool, touch optimized online piano and virtual guitar editor, to meet multiple daily music practice demands in one website.
Core Function List
1. Auto Microphone Pitch Detection
The browser picks up the vibration sound of each string in real time, calculates the current frequency, and feeds back pitch deviation through a visual dynamic indicator. The default configuration is the most widely used G-C-E-A standard tuning for soprano ukuleles.
2. Manual Reference Tone Playback
When the environment is too noisy for automatic recognition, tap the button corresponding to each string to play the standard pitch audio, and adjust your ukulele according to the played reference sound.
3. Multiple Tuning Preset Switch
Support switching between several commonly used alternative tuning schemes to match different sheet music arrangements and playing styles.
4. Fully Responsive Adaptive Page
Mobile vertical screen: Large buttons, prominent tuning indicator, one-handed operation friendly
Tablet & desktop: Wider layout, clearer parameter display, suitable for fixed desktop use
5. Zero Upload Local Calculation
All audio analysis is completed locally on your device. No sound data will be sent to any server, your audio input will not be recorded or stored, and your privacy is completely guaranteed.

Important Tips
For the best recognition accuracy, try to use the tool in a quiet room and pluck strings one at a time instead of strumming multiple strings together.
